Your Bookings, at a Glance
A visual calendar that shows booked dates, turnover days, and seasonal availability for every property you manage. No spreadsheets, no guessing.
Visual & Intuitive
Built for How Owners Actually Think
Most calendar tools were designed for hotels or vacation rentals with nightly bookings. Villages rentals work differently — monthly leases, seasonal snowbirds, annual tenants. This calendar is built for that reality.

Key Features
More Than a Calendar
Color-Coded Seasons
Peak, high, shoulder, and low seasons are visually distinct so you can see seasonal patterns at a glance. Know exactly which rate period every day falls into.
Turnover Day Visualization
Check-in and check-out days that fall on the same date show a diagonal split — checkout on top, check-in on bottom. See turnover days instantly without reading a spreadsheet.
Multi-Property Support
Own more than one rental? Switch between property calendars in one click. See each property's availability independently, with its own booking periods and rate seasons.
Renter-Facing Calendar
The same calendar appears on your public listing — renters can see available dates before they inquire. Fewer back-and-forth messages about availability.
How It Works
Set It Up Once
Add Your Rate Periods
In your property settings, set up rate periods with dates, labels, and monthly rates. Common patterns: "Peak Season (Jan-Mar)", "Shoulder (Oct-Dec)", "Summer (May-Sep)."
Calendar Populates Automatically
Your calendar fills in with color-coded seasons and booked periods. Current month is front and center, with easy navigation forward and back.
Renters See It Too
The calendar appears on your public listing. Renters check availability before inquiring — meaning fewer "is this available?" messages and more serious leads.

Questions About the Availability Calendar
Is the Availability Calendar included on all plans?
Yes. The Availability Calendar is available on every plan — Basic, Featured, and Spotlight. It's a core part of managing your rental property on Stay The Villages.
How do booking periods appear on the calendar?
Active booking periods show as highlighted date ranges. Each period can have a label (like the renter's name or "Snowbird Season"), start and end dates, and a rate. Past bookings are automatically dimmed so you focus on upcoming dates.
What does the diagonal split on a date mean?
When one guest checks out and another checks in on the same day, that date shows a diagonal split — the top-left triangle represents the checkout (outgoing), and the bottom-right triangle represents the check-in (incoming). This makes turnover days immediately visible.
Can renters see my calendar on my listing?
Yes. Your availability calendar is displayed on your public listing page. Renters can see which dates are available before they submit an inquiry, which reduces unnecessary back-and-forth.
How do I add or edit booking periods?
Booking periods are managed in your property's rate settings. Add a new rate period with start and end dates, a label, and a monthly rate. The calendar updates automatically.
Does it show seasonal rates?
Yes. The calendar uses color coding to distinguish different seasons — peak, high, shoulder, and low. Each season corresponds to your rate periods, so you can see which rate applies to any given date.
