Frequently Asked Questions
What is a monthly rental in The Villages?
Monthly rentals are mid-term stays of 1-3 months. They bridge the gap between short vacation stays and full seasonal leases, giving you flexibility to experience The Villages without a long commitment.
Are monthly rentals furnished?
Yes, nearly all monthly rentals are fully furnished with everything you need — furniture, kitchen essentials, linens, and towels. Many include a golf cart as well.
How do monthly rental prices compare to seasonal rates?
Monthly rates are typically 10-20% higher per month than seasonal (3-6 month) rates, reflecting the shorter commitment and higher turnover. However, they're often lower than nightly vacation rates.
Can I extend a monthly rental into a seasonal lease?
Some owners may extend a monthly stay into a seasonal or annual lease. Use the protected Contact Owner form on the listing to ask the relevant owner, then confirm any extension and price in writing. No account or app is required.
Do monthly renters get full access to Villages amenities?
Access depends on the property and the ID arrangement for the stay. Ask the owner which amenities are included, what identification is required, and whether any related charge appears in the lease.
